ABEN Ethics in Today’s Changing Times

Per the New York Department of Financial Services, you cannot receive CE credit for any course previously used for your license renewal (based on the course approval number). 
Per the Connecticut Insurance Department, a course can be taken for CE one time in the current license period.  It may be taken again in a subsequent license period.

Participants will develop tools that will be useful in increasing awareness and improving ethics for insurance professionals. The class will be led through actual case studies and discuss the impacts on the insured, insurer, and the intermediary.

 Program highlights include:
•    Exploring Code of Conduct Procedures
•    Developing Awareness of Potential Ethical Issues
•    Understanding Positive Business Ethics
•    Warning Signs of an Insurer’s Financial Instability  

This session will provide agents with an understanding of their own ethics and some strategies to use when put into tough situations.
