Insurance pros old and new: this is the flood course for you!
If you’re an agent new to flood insurance this course will satisfy your 3-hour training requirement set forth by FEMA and the NFIP. If you’re experienced with flood insurance this course will bring you up to speed on the latest happenings and provide useful information you can put to use immediately with your insureds.
FEMA has published minimum training and education requirements, as required by section 207 of the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004, for all insurance agents who sell Standard Flood Insurance Policies issued through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). This course meets the one-time continuing education requirement for existing licensees.
This course DOES NOT qualify for the 1 CE basic Flood credit mandated by the New York State Department of Financial Services.

Cancellation Policy
Per the New York Department of Financial Services, you cannot receive CE credit for any course previously used for your license renewal (based on the course approval number).
Per the Connecticut Insurance Department, a course can be taken for CE one time in the current license period. It may be taken again in a subsequent license period.
